The model ZB/450 of grinding machines are modular; there are single or double table machines and for each table can be equipped with one or two grinding unit. When the machine is equipped with two grinding units, it is used the first stone abrasive for the rough work, and the second wheel for the best finishing. The production of the machine depends on the speed for rotation of the table, that hold the pieces, the speed is changeable and can be set from 100 and 2.000 pieces per hour. A superior level of quality, it can be normally reached when the speed is more than 1.000 pieces per hour. A motorized belt for loading of all the type of knives, allows to the worker to place the pieces in order the machine can work alone for a period of 10 minutes. The machine is equipped with automatic devices, this take the pieces from the belt and load in the pliers of automation for making the teeth on the blade. Possible to set two different cycles of working: the direct contact of piece with the stone wheel, shaped as the blade or movement of the piece on the straight wheel. The working wheel has a diameter of 760 mm and width changeable according to the piece in working (standard from 65 to 80 mm). For sharpening the abrasive wheel, the machine has an automatic device with toothed roller, the movement is managed by CN and servo motor.
